Netflix

Oh my god, I actually maxxed out my Netflix queue. Apparently, you can't put more than 500 disks in the queue. I went to go add "Altered States", and boom: "You must remove some movies to add this one."

Yes, that's right. My queue is currently sitting at 500 DVDs. Man, I seriously need to stop working so hard, kick back, and just watch movies for a while.

Wow. I figured there was a limit, but I never checked to see what it was. Time to watch some movies!

Yeah, time to watch movies.

In the back of my sleep-deprived mind, I'm half expecting to receive a little note: "Congratulations on queuing up your 500th DVD. You have won a free upgrade to the 8-DVD subscription and a one-year full-pay sabbatical to get caught up."

I didn't even know there was an 8 DVD plan.

Yep for $47.99. However, given 2-day turnaround in most areas, this only makes sense if you could watch 2-3 disks per day, or about 55 per month.

Even at that rate, it would take most of the year for me to winnow my queue back down. And given that many are episodic disks (a little over 3 hours per disk), that would be a full-time job.

It's the story of my life:
- So many books, so little time.
- So many movies, so little time.
- So much art, so little time.
- So many lustful, naked women... hey, I can always read later.
