Photos from the new Flipside land
As previously mentioned, I went out to the new Flipside land last weekend for the initial survey/work weekend.
Here are some photos I took. I've posted several of the creek area, since it was one of the most attractive features of the land. Look for the people in the distance. It will give you a feeling for the size.

I shot myself in the head... really!
Despondant after the Cowboys pitiful performance on Sunday, I turned the camera on myself and fired off several rounds.
This was a low-tech setup, just shot at arms-length with built-in flash. To really do it right, I needed to setup the tripod, the lighting system (that I'm still shopping for), and either figure out the camera's timer or just get a remote trigger.
And yes, I need to shave.

My Little Lady

Tatooine?
I went out and took a snapshot of the sunrise this morning, and when I looked at the picture, I saw a double sunrise.
Lens effect, atmospheric refraction, or momentary teleportation to Tatooine? You decide.
The left image is a tightly cropped shot, while the right image is still at full resolution, so you'll have to pan around. I just wanted to show the captured detail of the clouds.
